(02/27/07) The final mix of THE COLLINGSWORTH FAMILY's new CD Project WE STILL BELIEVE is "going down" today at Crossroads Studio in Asheville, NC. Phil & Kim are in the studio working with producer Wayne Haun and engineer Van Atkins as the final mix decisions are made on the project. The material selected for production on this CD is extraordinary in quality with some of Gospel Music's finest writers being showcased. The children are deep into their studies with geometry daily dominating their homeschooling hours. Brooklyn & Courtney are now studying violin with Harold Byers, a member of The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and being challenged weekly with his instruction. Phillip is eagerly awaiting opening day for the Cincinnati Reds to arrive and Olivia is very excited, as she just lost another tooth today !! The coming weekends find BIG RED rolling south to brand new territory for The Collingsworth Family in both OK & TX, all the way down to Corpus Christi, on the Mexican border. Then, the next weekend BIG RED rolls north to the Canadian border in Green Bay, WI. Please keep them in your prayers.

(9/19/06) Where has the summer gone? For the Collingsworth Family they have stayed busy all summer long preparing the two new projects that have finally arrived as of last week. Kim's new piano CD 'Sunday Morning Ivories, Volume 2' is here along with the family DVD, 'A Night To Remember'. They turned out wonderful. They have already begun the shipping process for the 'in house' orders and it is so exciting. The webmaster should have these new projects posted on the website within the next 48 hours. Keep checking the site. The Collingsworth Family just arrived home from a week of meeting people at the National Quartet Convention. While there, Kim was privileged to play on the Pianorama with many great players. One of the highlights was to share the stage with Dino Kartsonakis. What a treat that was for her. The children are well under way into the school year which is a busy time for all of them. Please keep them in your prayers. They have a very busy fall schedule ahead of them. Try to see them at a concert near you if at all possible. I know you will be blessed.

(6/22/06) The Collingsworth Family has just returned back on the road after three weeks of a much needed vacation. For six of their vacation days they spent time with Kim's family at the Keaton Reunion and what stories they have to tell. Kim will be putting an e-newsletter out in a few short days with lots of pictures and very interesting details. The Collingsworth Family said this was the best reunion to date in every way. All sixty four family members were present, including Kim's sister and her family from the Phillipines, who shocked most everyone by entering the back door unexpectedly. What a story is behind that! Keep watching for the e-newsletter for details about all the above events. If you're not signed up to receive the e-newsletter and would like to do so, please email their office with your wishes. This weekend it's off to North Carolina, then on to Tennessee to close out the weekend. Please be sure to go see the Collingsworth Family whenever they are close to you in concert. I'm sure you will receive a blessing.

(5/29/06) School's out! School's out! The Collingsworth Family has wrapped up another year of the books and are placing them on the shelf for a summer break. Although travels will continue as normal, they will take some time off for a much needed vacation. God is opening doors of ministry so rapidly that I heard Phil say the other day, "Wow, we can hardly keep up!" Thank God for his blessings and the privilege for this family to travel and take the Gospel to so many different types of people. Please keep them in your prayers. They send their love to all of you and Kim says she'd like to have all of you to their home to sit on the front porch and get acquainted. Wouldn't that be nice? Oh, she also said, "One or two at a time, please.!" (Smile) Until then, count your blessings and have a great month of June!

(5/3/06 ) Hi to everyone. The month of April has been an incredible month of activites for The Collingsworth Family.. They just finished their 'live' DVD shoot on the 25th of April and Kim is about to jump off of the piano bench and say "I'm done with Sunday Morning Ivories #2." By the way, she thinks that's shouting ground!! The logistics of both of the projects falling close to the same time has been a bit overwhelming for them, but vacation is coming. School is almost over for the Collingsworth kids and Olivia has beat them all and is already out. She's pretty happy about that. In a few short weeks they will be joining Kim's family for another Keaton reunion which promises to be a good one. They will be in the Smokey Mountains this year and if you want the Collingsworth Family to smile, just ask them about this event. They can hardly wait. They will be posting pictures shortly after the event is over. Keep checking the site.
Phil and Kim says to say to everyone, "Remember to take some time for your families this summer and enjoy them." They are definately planning on doing that themselves."

(1/5/06 ) Happy New Year from the Collingsworth house to yours! The Collingsworth Family is enjoying their time off at home more than there are words to describe. Lots of down time, four wheeler ridin', and trips to the library for Brooklyn and Courtney to catch up on those latest novels. They sang at the Paramount Theatre in Anderson, IN on December 30, 2005 to a great crowd. They are all gearing up for the annual Florida tour that will begin the end of January. They'll be ready for that nice spring weather, but in the meantime, Kim is praying for one more good snow storm before they leave. In case you didn't know, she loves a roaring fire and a cup of coffee to go along with it. School for the four kids is in full swing again and Phil is trying to hold the fort down in the office. Be sure to check their Florida or spring schedule and greet them at a concert near you.
